The Essential Service.
This service is designed to give access to regulated financial advice, for those who are likely to benefit from our Core Service in the future but are not quite at that stage yet. This often includes clients who are just starting out, or who have one or two products, such as pensions, that they would like reviewed.
Typical Inclusions.
1. Initial meeting.
We take the time to listen and understand your personal circumstances, goals, and requirements.
Together, we explore your current financial position, as well as the softer, more personal factors that influence and shape your financial objectives.
Through these conversations, we begin to identify your financial priorities and lay the groundwork for your personalised financial plan.
This process typically includes an initial fact-finding meeting, followed by ongoing discussions to refine our understanding and approach.
2. Analysis.
We start by analysing the information gathered during our initial meeting, along with insights from any follow-up discussions or additional meetings as needed.
Next, we conduct a comprehensive review of your financial situation and the specific areas where advice is required. This forms the basis for developing a tailored financial plan, supported by thorough product and investment research.
Our research is completely independent, we are not tied to any product provider or investment solution, ensuring that our recommendations are always in your best interests.
3. Recommendation.
Following the analysis stage, we develop a tailored financial plan based on our findings and your specific needs.
If you hold existing financial products or investments, we assess their structure to ensure they are fully aligned with your goals and requirements.
Cash flow modelling is typically excluded from this service, particularly where clients have limited investable assets or less complex financial situations. Nonetheless, it may be included where appropriate, with fees adjusted as necessary.
4. Implementation.
Once we have discussed and agreed on how you wish to proceed, we implement and coordinate your financial plan.
This may involve further discussions and refinements to the recommendations to ensure they remain aligned with your objectives.
We also liaise with other relevant professionals such as accountants, financial product providers and investment managers to ensure a smooth and coordinated approach to delivering your plan.
5. Annual Reviews.
Ongoing advice is generally not necessary within this service category. Where this is the case, the 0.75% ongoing fee will not apply, and we will discuss suitable alternative arrangements with you. These decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Where there is no ongoing service arrangement in place, clients are responsible for notifying us of any changes to their circumstances that could affect the continued suitability of the original advice. Any future advice will be subject to clearly agreed fees, confirmed prior to any further recommendations being made.
6. Financial Products.
Accessing financial markets involves the use of a range of financial products and instruments.
You may already be familiar with some of these, such as savings accounts, pensions, investment funds, and specialist investments.
As independent financial advisers, we are not restricted to a specific provider or product range. Instead, we conduct thorough, unbiased market research to identify the solutions we believe are best suited to your individual needs and circumstances, using a robust and well-defined selection process.
